wow dude, this is basically what just happend to me and my fiance. we lost all our fish 'cept our clown, only difference is we took them all out and put them in a hospital to treat them before it actually got to them, and we probably sped it up by doing so, so leaving them in the tank may have actually saved you money because the stress factor of cathing already diseased fish stinks real bad. but.. at least we didnt' have fish dying in our DT to cause ammonia spikes.. just trying to look on the bright side. ANYWAY haha, i do have something to say which is what we're going to do differently when putting all new fish in and that is using garlic guard and metronidazole in the QT on all new fish weather they seem like they need it or not. and be sure to not overstock. we got the outbreak by adding three blue reef chromies at once when we already had a hector's goby, lawn mower blenny, spotted mandarin and clown fish. i think that was too much. we're going to set up a salt water fish only tank eventually so we can have more fish to watch without over stocking our reef. good luck dude, i hope your last fish makes it. i'm grateful to still have at least one.
