Is there a risk of removing trace elements (at detrimental levels) when using GAC passively (in a media bag in a high flow area in sump/rear chamber of AIO)? I do bi-weekly water changes and dose All For Reef daily for alk/Ca/Mg stability, which also adds trace elements.

I don’t think that GAC is a dominating factor in trace element depletion rates.
