Update:

40b is up and running. Moved some chaeto and my gsp trimmings into it. No leaks as of now and flow seems to be ok for now.

Traded in 2 torch frags for this new red Trachy today. Can't wait to see it fully inflated. Already looking better in my tank than it did at the store :)

My original one is on the far right, still kickin' ;)

Beautiful! I don't think I'll ever have the guts to take on a Trachy, they can be so temperamental from what I've read.

I wish I could count that high

Very nice! That CBB is looking fat. Need a fff to fatten up in there
LFS had one when I was there, was about 2 1/2" long, was so cute but I think it would be bullied bad in my tank being that small.

Guess only ok thing about my crash was starting with a tiny fff. He was about as big as my thumb and now is 4x that. Think I may need a road trip to the Tuckaway tavern for steak tips and to check your basement setup for ideas once the shots are out.

Someone considering a basement sump??
Best thing I ever did. Makes tank so much quieter without having to listen to all the noise from the sump.

Me too, WHAT a difference, no noise, no smell, no crawling around on the floor to do anything on the sump. Equipment and sump restrictions based on the size of the stand, the list goes on and on. I'll NEVER have a sump under a tank again :)

Being old and used ( not quite used up) basement fish room would make it possible to keep a tank running. The bending down **** has to go :)
plus I want a beach ball of Chaeto like Keith grew
