We are leaving for vacation on Saturday and will be gone for 9-10 days. My parents will be feeding our cats and dogs, but have no clue about the fish. Would it be ok to put some frozen food in cups of ro water and leave it in the fridge for them to feed? I hate to just feed pellets while I am gone.

No by the 4th-5th day the liquid in the cup will be spoiled (ammonia), you can make several cups and keep them frozen and show them how to defrost one every couple days.

Yep just keep one in the fridge and the rest in freezer. They can pull the another one out and stick it in the fridge to defrost for next feeding

Maybe some flakes would be easy for them too.

I always just throw the food in while its still frozen. As it thaws on the outside, the fish eat it.
