Hi everyone,
thanks for adding me to this amazing forum, that I follow since some years ago.
I'm Hugo Brito from Portugal, a saltwater hobbyist since my 16 years. During this last decade I've been keeping two main tanks, one full sps of 120 liters, and another of 300 liters for high-end zoanthid propagation. On the last two years I had the privelege to found an whatsapp group named ZoaFans, that has been a lot of sucess for people to share ideias, knowledge and to integrate better novices into this amazing world. Late on this year, after incentives of some friends of mine I decided to create and develop my own Aquaculture farm. This facility will be based in a near future on 30 to 50% captivity grown corals, focus on high end SPS, LPS and Zoanthids. For now the project has only 1 week of birth, and it's still a baby. Hope can learn from your side, what are the best steps to do in a project like this, to avoid commit errors.
For now I have this infos from the facility:
4 mains displays:
1 sump for 2 tanks (120 x 80 x 35) - Quarentine Tank ( 3 month running, some LPS):
- 4 x Phillips coral care;

- 1 Pacific sun algae reactor M;
- 1 Nyos Torq Reactor with carbon and zeolits;
- 1 Deltec Skimmer 1000i;
- OceanLife Liquid Salt;
- easyreefs easy booster liquid phytoplankton;
- 3 x Maxspect bio base;
- 1 x Deltec Calcium reactor PF601S;
1 sump for 1 tank (200x80x35 cm) - SPS propagation Tank (1 month running, still empty):
- 3 x Ecotech G3;
- 4 x t5 Blueplus;
- 1 Pacific sun algae reactor M;
- 1 Nyos Torq Reactor with carbon and zeolits;
- 1 Deltec Skimmer 1000i;
- OceanLife Liquid Salt;
- 3 x Maxspect bio base;
- 1 x Deltec Calcium reactor PF601S;
1 sump for 1 tank (120x45x35 cm) - Zoanthus propagation Tank (2 years running):
- 3 x AI prime;
- 1 Pacific sun algae reactor S;
