Hi,
Purchased a 32.5 Gallon Fluval Flex, used, for a great price. The stock light, which was disclosed, does not work, so I need to purchase a new one. When I go online, it shows its model 14513, but this doesnt seem to exist. Can anyone please tell me which light can fit as a stock light? I have read Marine 3.0, Aquasky, etc, but dont know the size or wattage to look for. It will be a FOWLR tank mainly, with possible future softies or LPS. Nothing difficult.
Thanks!

The stock fluval light is so expensive for whats its worth, i think your better off going full aftermarket, running the tank lidless unless you intend to keep fish which are full on jumpers. (dart fish, wrasse, ect...)

I personally do not like fluval lights... i love fluval canisters for freshwater, and other fluval stuff, but fluval lights are not the first thing one thinks about if they decide to go corals.

Thank you! I do like the aesthetics of the Flex, though, which was why I am leaning towards keeping the lid. Won’t be attempting anything other than anemones, zoa’s, mushrooms most likely

I agree completely with Naekuh, don't waste your money on fluval equipment, its just disappointing.

For fish you can add any $20 light, its just to see the fish.

For corals, I would add something like a nicrew 100w light, I have that on my 32 gallon, its one of the cheaper 'quality' lights (much better quality than fluval) and it will let you grow anything you want.

Thank you! Probably be able to DIY it on the hood with the Nicrew?

Hi! If you do have that stock light, would you mind sharing your App data for lighting schedule for the day? I had to turn my lights down after too much algae grew a while back, and I wanted to get other's input who have corals/nems for their schedule. I only have one Sea 3.0 I put in, but the LFS told me they were near identical years ago when I bought the tank.
