Gyre on for 5 minutes, off for 5 minutes cycle. In the ocean water flows one way for 12 hours, then flows the other way as the moon pulls the mass of it. The wave makers on back wall should compensate for the intermittent 1 way flow, but if the corals are still growing lopsided....add more wavemakers.

Don’t even know if i can program the gyre that way.

This did it!
I removed one side of the gyre & placed it towards the back for movement over the water surface.

I have Maxspect Gyre 350 cloud version, I can set mine that way.
