Taking a small break as I assess rock structure placement and rocks to use.
Will be drilling the rock for fiberglass rods for support.

I know you know this already.
:) :)
Please be very careful if you don't plan on just tossing the rock.

How do you plan on removing them?

Lol, this is more for some new Reefer following your thread than anything else. :)

Keep us posted on the poly removal.

How are you going about removing the poly from the rock?

Those rocks are going into the sump for now. Later down the road, I'll acid wash them safely.

Rock work done. Way more real estate to work with. Bad rocks in sump for now. I'll try to get better pictures later. Water cloudy and lights turned down for the rest of the day to minimize coral distress. Lots of hiding places for more fish! Now I need to go shopping for some acros! Lol

Will place corals I want in a little bit from fragging. They are floating in the sump to keep temp. Big water change later.

Please don’t get rid of that toadstool!! It’s beautiful and your tank won’t be the same without it!! I mean unless you want to sell me the smaller one then that’s fine ;Smuggrin;Hilarious

PS my candy canes and Monti are still doing great!! I’m filling the big tank now...I’m getting nervous.

Glad to hear they are doing good!

I'll let you know about the baby when it's time. No they are staying for now.

Yes, montipora cap. It started out as a quarter size frag. It's a monster now.

Yes, birds nest. It's grown wildly out of control and needs to be fragged!

Forgot to say that I also like the aquascape and flow of the rocks. The coral diversity works well along with the substrate gently brushed back towards the middle and fades. It is really nice and I am one who doesn't really care for bare bottom tanks yours has a very natural look. If I had a super power or fancy suite say like Ant Man I think it would be cool to size properly to fit your tank and go scuba diving :)

Alas I have neither but I did want to say that the flow and balance is really awesome. It really does have a good vibe.
