Finished plumbing. Need to run all the cables and probes cleanly. Fyi 3 days doing this. I hate plumbing, I most have thrown away $50+ dollars on mistakes. Need to change the outlet of the carbon reactor to red pipe, put a white for now. Yup ran out..

Looks great. Also you can probably throw some soft close hinge adapters on those. They look to be the same brand hardware as ikea. They just snap on and make those hinges soft close. Typically you just use one per door. The hardware shown in my picture is Blum, but I believe ikea rebrand theirs. IMG_20180602_230930.jpg IMG_20180602_230926.jpg IMG_20180602_230911.jpg

That's some great plumbing work. I'm probably getting the same sump for my 250 build in a few weeks, so the shots are much appreciated! Though I may go with the filter sock version.

Well my only update is am going to be going on a couple of vacations and volleyball tournaments. I know it sounds crazy but I am going to put everything on hold for a month or so. I wont enjoy my vaca worrying about the new tank. Everything is in place but not tested or proven. I really need it to be running for months straight before I leave it for weekends or a week.

You mentioned vollyball... Ever play in Hermosa/Redondo beach? Lived out there for a couple years though for some crazy reason moved back to the northeast in 2010.
Only play beach tournament here Florida east and west cost. I dont know if cant compete in Cali, whole never level up there. My good days are gone anyways in my mid 40's but still play in tournaments.

The talent was incredible. The AVP tournaments were a blast to attend. Never expected to see crowds like that. And yeah, late 30’s... 40’s things just get harder.

Tank looks great! Heading down to CDA next weekend to check things out and put a deposit on my first tank. It makes me comfortable to keep reading about people having an excellent experience.
You wont regret it, tank and costumer service is awesome. Tell them you saw by build in R2R if you dont mind, they know about it.

OK finally some updates, I have been so busy. I went ahead and changed my return plumbing to 1-1/4 to match the Cor20. Then I split in the inside of the over flow to 1inch and change the VCA and Locline to 1 inch. I am getting to much flow, so I had to slow down the cor20 to 80% might do more. Went ahead and bought ruffly 100# pounds of live rock. Man its has allot of hitch hikers. So far only bad things is aiptasia, I am taking care of it right away with peppermint shrimps and AIPTASIA-X. I added the shrimps after tank cycled ;) Now for the big and huge mistake. Since I am starting an algae bloom I went ahead and started my refugium. I bought the cheato from a local popular store, (not here to put any store down so I wont say but its on Bird Road if you live in Miami) Well i didn't clean it and dam it has Acoel flatworm. I noticed right away so I have been sucking them out. I also put filter floss at the end of sump to catch any. Keep checking every hour and taking them out even the tiniest. Hopefully that will be enough crossing fingers. I only find one every few hours. Well below are some picks.

Tank Cycled, not sure of rock work will probably change.
