My yellow coarse wrasse just started swimming funny and now lays at the bottom of the sand bed on his side no ich or velvet that I can see he has been in my tank for a year and no new additions his breathing isn’t labored he just can’t swim right was thinking it was a swim bladder problem ordered klonex and I have in a prazipro and copper safe bath now any suggestions?

A video of at least 30 seconds under white lighting will be helpful on assessing what is going on. It can be injury, aggression, bladder and more. Need to see the behavior

I went through the same thing with a red lined wrasse a few years back. He used to freak out every so often and go banging against things. I too thought it was swim bladder but now believe it was spinal related. Either way there was not much I could do, hope your situation turns out better than mine.

Welcome to R2R. I feel your pain. I got a Yellow Wrasse 2 weeks ago that was purchased quarantined process/treatment from a vendor here in NJ. Today the Yellow Wrasse is laying on her side and will briefly swim two feet when I get near the tank
