Going to try and keep this updated with information about my First Saltwater aquarium. View attachment 3061772
Purchased this tank used about 2 months ago and began cleaning it up. Needed to replace the power center, and door hardware along with all the pumps.
I then proceeded to design a custom acrylic sump to gain a little space inside the cabinet area. PXL_20230207_174748187.jpg
After building it and running it for a few weeks I changed my mind and modified the original sump for my needs.
The wife and I started playing with the rocks and built the hardscape and got that into the tank.

Fast forward a month after cycling and I stumbled upon a deal for corals that I couldn't pass up and I placed corals into the tank. I originally was going to wait a bit longer for the corals until the fish were in for a while but sometimes life tells you otherwise. So in went some coral 5 days before the fish were in.

This brings us up to today we're we are looking for zoa's for an island, and other easy corals to cover up some of the rock structure.

Constructive criticism is welcome, please don't destroy me over tank additions

My emerald crab is constantly eating hair algae but the best hair algae eater is my tuxedo urchin. That thing plows down hair algae. Something to consider.
