Finally, some updated photos after a cyano bloom being controlled. Unfortunately, I lost my Pintail wrasse to my algae scraper. He got stuck between it and the glass wall. His pectoral fin was lodged in the felt material. I was super mad at myself for leaving it in the tank near the bottom. I ound him dead the next morning after looking for hours.
Cool build!! Looks great, following along :)

Thank you! My first SW tank. I have learned soooo much. Next one will be way different. And probably not for a long while. Although, my wife really wants a puffer, so i might be able to work some magic.

Going to finally be adding more fish. Pintail and Carpenter wrasse, along with a black cap basslet. But, just got in my new acclimation tank. Holy smokes, Octoaquatics "The Shu" is beautiful. Thank you Matt, @cromag27 for making a magnificent product. This thing is well made, the best I have seen available. Cannot wait. Feast your eyes on this beauty.

Well, got a new fish! Taking it nice and slow, but man i had to have this pintail. My Talbots Damsel picked on him the first da6, now that is the only fish the pintail will flash at and keep in check.

Also had the first breeding event in my tank. I had 3 stomatella snails that i allowed to hitchhike into my tank. Well, they have been very prosperous and now i have about 60 little ones ranging in size from a pinhead to that of a pea. Probably all my "extra" algae. Either way i will take them.

Been quite a while. My tank is now a year old and shows a bit more maturity, even if I do not. I have had several setbacks, instability, pests, etc. All in all, I am happy with the progression and enjoy my tank daily. Have fun everyone.
