Total system is ~45g, predominantly LPS / soft coral / RFAs (no SPS) along with fish / inverts.

Based on my ATI ICP - It looks like most of the major elements are relatively in-line, however, many of the minor elements are degrees higher or lower than the benchmark - lithium, silicon, barium, zinc all high and iodine low. Luckily, all the pollutants were undetectable.

ATIs two recommendations (surprised no mention of iodine?):
Dose Manganese supplement
Dose Iodine supplement

1. Should I worry about my Zinc level, or any of the other out of range minor elements? I’m a bit at a loss for why Zinc is so high, as I’m extremely cautious with contamination (i.e. hands never in tank without rubber gloves, strict SW & RODI storage / mixing regiments) although I understand there is potential this could have come from a metal component in the tank. I do actively

2. Does anyone know how much Iodine or Manganese are in Reef Crystals IO? Trying decide if I should dose or just do more frequent WCs… as of now, I do not do WCs too frequently if my main parameters are in check. (However, I do think I did a 10% WC right before this ATI sample was pulled).

Highly appreciate any other feedback - thank you!

The lithium is no concern.

Might you benefit from a trace element mix? Maybe. Easy enough to try something like Tropic Marin A and K.

Thanks, Randy, and good suggestion. I’ll look further into those to see which I may benefit from (if not both). I know one contains zinc, which I’m not sure I’d be looking to add, but to your point above, my tank inhabitants largely seem fine. I have some coral that are a bit bothered at the moment, but I think it may be driven by digitate hydroids and not my chemistry. Thanks for the reply!
