UUH OOH...... What's missing @Brew12 ?
I've installed everything that came with the system...

Two pipes or even just one more on your secondary drain inside your overflow:)

Pretty much this. To make it a little quieter, each overflow should have 3 stand pipes. You have the emergency installed but you probably want a 1" stand pipe on the full siphon drain and stand pipe around 1" shorter than the emergency drain stand pipe for the partial drain line.

Two beautiful tanks being built with some great equipment to utilize.

You mentioned curing your DR in 'Just tap water (with Prime)'. Stupid question and I hate to ask, but are you using salt water for the cure? I just wondered since I just read about the tap water. Do you have access to a few pieces of pest free LR and Stability (or like product) to encourage some good bacteria? I've always cured dead rock with what I mentioned plus some existing live sand to promote a decent cure process.

Please keep the pics and progress reports coming as it is awesome to see a build come together.

BTW, I noticed you were looking into;
Good luck and can't wait to see updates.

OK Gotcha..... I must have inadvertently overlooked those other pipes, I'll have to look in the box of extra parts and see if I can find them. Thanks for the heads up Guys !

@Captain Quint: during the last 3 or 4 water changes, I did use salt water and I also used Dr. Tim's to try and seed the dry Pukani rock.

Also, Thanks for the screen top recommendations. I think I'm going to get one of these custom aquarium tops/lids from a company called "Reef Tops". The photo below is an example of one of their aquarium tops. I will get one similar to this with cut outs for various things.

This is such a nice build, I’m definitely following. That sump looks clean I wanted one until I saw the price tag. I might just try and build a copy, but not sure what those three round tubes that look to be a replacement for the socks do.

Those are reactors for media such as carbon, the drains drain into the skimmer section to the left. Jeff's posted prices for sump systems include the skimmer and pumps, for just the sump itself it's usually $3-500 orso depending on what you want. You can order JUST the sump but it's custom work and you'd have to wait for it.

TANK UPDATE:
It's been a while since I posted anything, so here are a couple of pictures I took today while hunkered down waiting for Hurricane Florence to pass.
(We live of North Carolina and we are VERY grateful that we still have power as there are many around us who don't). We're keeping our fingers crossed.

Here are a few more pics of the fish I have so far ...
FYI ... The Sohal Tang was a rescue fish (which I wish I hadn't taken because as beautiful as he is, he bullies all of my other fish).

Loving the build so far!

I have not seen a lot of people go with flexible plumbing on their builds. How do you like yours? Seems a lot easier than hard plumbing.
