Just wondering if this is a good deal, I can probably talk him down a little bit on the price, I know the Hanna testers are ~$50 each, and the lights are about $260, he says they were used for approximately 3 months. I'm guessing that I could get them for about $340. Is this is a steal or if I could get a better deal down the road? It also comes with the kessil light controller.

Currently I have a 20 gallon with a aquamaxx nemo light, and in about a week I'll be starting to assemble a new 120 gallon reef/fish tank. I was wondering if using these lights would be good for a refugium in the 120, or if I would be better off putting them on my 20g. For the 120 I'll probably end up getting multiple a360we lights for the normal display.

You'd better not or no more advice for you! :)
Um, not if I get there FIRST!!! Bwahahahahaha!!
Only a good deal if you can use it. If you have no use for it, it doesnt make sense. Its a good deal though.
Jeebus, jump on that. The Kessils alone retail for $240 each, not to mention the Hanna testers. The Kessil controller retails for $100. If you don't take the deal, let me know and I'll take it! :)

Sorry boys, gonna jump on this grenade :D Thanks for the advice!! Getting it all for $350

Put one of the Kessil's on your 20 gal with the controller and let the other push your refugium.

You can tune the spectrum to the more yellow side. But remember, the intensity is what you're using for overall growth of anything. Have you used a kessil before?
Nope, never used Kessil, this will be my first large tank (120gal) when I get it. I'm thinking 3-4 a360we's for it. maybe 2 ap700's.

Hold out for Philips to get the "Coral Care" into the US. Two will be perfect for that 120 :)

Also, any idea when those might be released?

Darn it! That would've been a late Christmas present for me! :)

So while at the guys house, I ended up picking up a few more things along side the two kessil a160we lights, kessil controller and the hanna testers. I also got a RO/DI system, a phosphate reactor, a UV sterilizer, an auto feeder, a pump for the Phosphate reactor, a thermometer, a tank glass cleaner, Bulk Reef Supply carbon, kalkwasser, magnesium chloride, and premium ROX carbon! Total cost - $415.00!
