Unusual question BUT: When target feeding corals with something like mysis.. If you feed say an acan or one head of a torch, and from all its polyps only one attaches a piece of mysis, would that be just feeding that specific polyp or would it be feeding the entire coral?

An acan is probably more each polyp would take food as there is separation between heads, but I’m not 100% sure they don’t share nutrients. They should only need target fed if you have really low nutrients or feed really sparingly. As for a torch, each head is a polyp for if an arm (tentacle) gathers mysis it is reading the whole head.
