I thought that's what I had as well... turned out they were hydroids! Ended up swapping out rocks to get rid of them....

Can you post some more clear pics of the baby feather dusters, I am thinking it may be something else like Chad had mentioned? I am not sure 100%

Mine looked a bit different than what the pic shows. They were patches and the "feathers" seemed to glow green in the actinics... there is quite a few different types of hydroids tho...

Here's a grown feather duster if that helps. You can look at the texture and compare them maybe. Do they retract fast? Mine hides when we put our lights on lunar mode 100•\• blue LEDs

I also have these things in my tank, and it's been my assumption that these are glass enemones. To kill em I let em grow and then shoot a little vinegar into it the trunk looking part, but I'm not really sure either. I'll post some pictures when I get home

Is that the only way to get rid of them? I thought these things are in most reef tanks, and just require some maintaince.

Yea I know the pic I shared I found on google , I've had them before and killed with aptasia x cause I didnt have a plague amount of them thank god but was just showing the difference in his pic with the pic I shared cause there's no mistaking aptasia when you've had the ugly things in your tank
