I got the SKY’s set at 100% white, ….
I don’t mind reposting again if this shot isn’t good enough…
hope all these post aren’t too annoying

The Bluejaw was added yesterday (from WWC)

I dont see tank as hazy however two things observed, The haziness you see may be due to tank next to a window despite blinds closed as UV can penetrate shades, blinds and curtains.
What filtration are you using as I see no overflows and suspect mechanical units such as canister and/or hang on filters?

I had an issue with one of my tanks once and I got a big concession from the advice givers that my tank was not cycled... I had two damsels die in a new tank in less than 24 hours in a 30g :thinking-face: yeah ok...
So... unfortunately ICP's will not show you all the pollutants so this may be hard. I would check that you have good gas exchange, but your PH and ORP are in range, so probably not. Are you running any reactors, ceramic media? Is your fuge growing or dying off? Check your magnets for any breach. Scrapers, racks, even pumps for cracks.
To me this could be a toxin build up. In the mean time run some carbon, change it out every few days. while you are getting your water tested.
Also just double check your chlorine out of your RODI

The tank has a Reefmat and recently a pretty robust macro algae powered refugium. BTW I was going to use a scrubber but 3 Tunze bars fit in the limited headroom better. Anyway Nitrates dropped from the 70’s to the current 30’s
Phosphates are controlled by TM’s carbon dosing stuff using ReefActif, their biopellets and thier overprice Elimi-NP or whatever… ranges bounce between .03 - .2 ish

The tank is absolutely whack…here are some closeups of the hardy survivors of AquaSD’s heat pack fiasco back in June…again these frags have been in place over 90 days, note the VERY sorry growth

I’ve setup a few tanks and yeah btw the algae thing is absolutely wacky, I setup this tank almost 1yr ago and the coralline growth is excruciatingly slow … all params have been in range and reasonably consistent

This theory is looking more and more plausible…. Who are the ICP players anymore anyway…I’m about to do a thorough search here on R2R for advice…
Last ICP company I used is out of biz

I am about to use Triton because they are local.
But there is Fauna Marin, You can get a Oceanamo ICP MS kit from moonshiners (which I am going to try next time) I don't know there turn around time with the flood. And I think API.

You listed a large number of fish that didn’t include the regal and the other 4 that died. Are the others doing well, anthias etc? Then likely not a toxin

I rule out toxins as other fish would have been affected. the Fuge and scrubber is good but may noy have been sufficient to manage the bioload with the number of fish.

Just out of curiosity, what is your water change protocol? Also is that Caribsea life rock in your tank?
Yes there is some ( not much tho) , also some of that fake cement stuff that’s painted purple, but some its ole skool Fiji, marshall and real carribean stuff…. the original feather dusters, dragons blood, worms, et are long gone…
Any chance of a stray current from either a power head or heater ect?
Heck always that chance… plz school me on how to check for stray volts; although I used one of these daily in the USF, for the life of me I can’t recall on exactly how to measure in water….

here is the meter with both probes in

that’s the thing, the fish are active and eating well, heck that regal was particularly greedy… I’ve had bad frozen kill fish and the cubes looked “re frozen” …I dunno

…the anthias are goofy: the male Lyretail seems to be suppressing the sex change in the dispars, but I dunno

maybe I should take another close up of that regal before it gets stinky, but I see absolutely nothing wrong with it…same deal when I lost a very bulletproof marine betta….

yes the tanks overcrowded, but that’s what we do isn’t it…LOL…where are the tang police when you need one

Have you checked your ORP probe for calibration? Ozone may be higher than you think.
Duh and thanks… sincerely thanks
and actually I ran to the box a minute ago ….
I got both carbon and the poly filter going
@vetteguy53081 I did a massive 50% pre-vacation H2O change about 2 weeks ago …
I was calling myself doing a @GARRIGA but chickened out LOL

not to deviate from my own thread but one issue came up with some of my coral losses and I owe someone a update….

@vetteguy53081 do you recall a while back when I posted a picture of my tank surrounded by windows bathed in natural sunlight?
well often things work until they don’t….
what I didn’t take into account is the seasonal change in sun position as relates to the tank…

I ZAPPED a LOT of corals…see the following pictures

No problem at all. Years ago I accidentally forgot to replace an ORP probe back into the sump as I was cleaning/soaking it in a jar and nuked my tank overnight with too much ozone. Lost a bunch of expensive fish.

I’m not real good at this, please pardon

closeup shot

Sump

Full tank

I think the first and the third video were the same one. I didn't see any closeup videos of the remaining fish.....but I didn't see any obvious issues in the whole tank or sump videos.

Shoot, might be endless chasing: bad streaks: happen. So it’s throw away all the frozen food, ICP, correct water, move on. I feel selfish, thank you.
edit. Hopefully no updates.
