Not 100% in agreement with it for all coral.
It may be fine for softies and some lps. But for stonies I just do temp, dip, and drop in. I do a small light acclimation over a coarse of a week. That's it, no losses.
This proves I read it right? Or do you not want to sell to me now. Just joking on that last part. LOL

30 tons of ac, must be pretty good size building. Interesting.
In business for 30 years is interesting also. I think this is the 1st I have heard of you.

I have to give a general idea on acclimation, you are correct it varies by coral species. Most hobbiest that are dealing with SPS are a ways down the road with adding corals to their tanks and have their own methods that work well for them. I am just trying to provide safe acclimation guidelines more towards beginning hobbiest. I put alot of coral into system with just temp acllimation and dip but I also have been doing this a long time.
