ETRC "Test Kit" test

So if we w ant to run as many comparison tests as possible, we will need everyone who is attending to post up what test kit they are bringing and what test kit they would like to see compared. .

I have Hanna alk and phosphate, I also have Red Sea Pro Alk, Calcium, nitrate,and magnesium.

Never got around to the Salifert's NO3 but they are the best IME. $80 is a bit steep but Cd apparently isn't inexpensive anymore.

LaMotte's uses cadmium for the reaction so I suspect that is part of why it is so expensive.

Oooh I forgot. I picked up a Hanna Digital Refractometer at the Expo in Gatlinburg. I will bring that as well.

Yes we will be doing this water test experiment at the beginning of the party. In case you don't know exactly what we're doing, we're all basically just testing the same water with multiple test brands and individuals testing to see how much of a variation there is between both equipment and simply human interpretation of test results.

I just recently bought the Hanna certified checking set for the HI755 - the alk tester. The Hanna guy at the swap recommended this to verify that the Hanna checker is reading correctly. I can bring them for the folks with Hanna alk checkers.
