Okay, so according to my little chart that helps me figure out what's what, the Rose Nebula is the one that had some Cyano issue (covered in it). I cleaned it up good a few days ago (or maybe it was a week, not sure) and they haven't melted but they still aren't opened yet. There are only two little polyps but to be honest I don't know that I have seen these opened yet.

That looks to be them. Those things hated getting fragged, after each cutting it took forever for them to recover.

Yeah sorry, hard to get a good shot of them using the iphone with all the pumps still on; it was the one behind the twilight V2's. Hopefully it will pull a comeback soon as I Googled them and man those are some sweetness. I shoould be able to grab the frag saw on Wednesday or Thursday (may be going to play poker in Cherokee on Wed). As soon as i get it back up and going I plan on chopping up everything that is fraggable including the new stuff from Cherry!

Okay, so I fragged up all of the Cherry Corals stuff last night. I hope I didn't butcher anything but this was my first time using the saw, but practice makes perfect. I cut 1 polyp of the Mandarin Oranges, 2 polyps of the Salted Agaves, 1 or 2 of the Super Saiyen (can't remember exactly), cut the Habanero and Welcome to Paradise into 4 frags, and split the Highlighter 2.0 into 2 frags with 2 polyps a piece (more on this in a moment). I plan on splitting one of the 2 polyps frags of the highlighter 2.0 into single polyp frags, but after cutting it the first time it was difficult to see my cutting line; so I want it to heal/fluff back up a hair before I take the saw to it again as I would rather not lose any of it. The other frags should be healed up and ready to go in the next week or two. Also we have one polyp of the Panther Chameleon that is ready to go and I should be able to get another one in the next week or two I think. I believe Justin was planning on holding a raffle for interested parties on the newly available stuff (that are paid up on their dues). I definitely want to put myself in for that raffle for the Habenero and the panther Chameleon (if I don't win I can always wait, so I won't be disappointed either way).

I'd love to get on the list or whatever to get the salted agave. I've been drooling over the agave's for a long time now.

The BOD met tonight to discuss the best way to make sure everyone had a fair chance to check out the new corals. We will be doing a drawing to check out each item. I will list the details in another thread and then post the link. Also on the first page of this thread I am posting the prices of the new items, I will also post below, but I wanted to have one place to find all the club library prices, which is the first page, also i'm posting out how long you will be able to check the coral out for. However you can return it sooner if it grows well for you.

New items available:
Highligters 2.0 Acan, 1 polyp available, $40, 4 months
Panther Chameleon Acan, 1 polyp available, $80, 4 months
Welcome to Paradise Favia, 3 frags available, $25, 3 months
Habenero Monti, 3 frags available, $25, 3 months
Super Saiyan zoa, 1 polyp available, $20, 3 months
Mandarin Orange zoa, 1 polyp availabe, $20, 3 months
Blue Agave paly, 2 polyps available, $20, 3 months

Reminder these are for check out from the ETRC coral library and is only for ETRC members. The rest of the details of the drawing will be posted in a new thread which i link below.

Nothing has changed, from the original format of the library. You pay $20 for 1 polyp of the blue agaves, you have it for 90 days, at the end of that time you return the one polyp and keep what you've grown.

The older stuff is the only stuff that is currently for purchase, not rental. That is probably where the confusion lies. As Justin said though, the new stuff is for "checkout" with a return needed of one polyp. If you grow out 12 in your checkout period, you still only have to return one polyp back to the library. This will help us ensure that everyone will get a shot at the various species eventually. Thanks
