I'm not going to risk it, he's going back to my lfs.So what's the plan to protect your corals from the rosy criminal going forward?

All crabs can but I like them too much to not add themThese guys can go rogue too
Yeah I've got a proper alk test kit on the way right now I've got test strips and my lfs to test my water, most of these are mushrooms so alk shouldn't swing too much, but I'm debating whether I should keep the dipastrea and the freebie goniapora, because I’m not sure I'm ready for them yet lolThese guys can go rogue too. Nice coral haul. Rock's gonna look great once they start filling in and growing over. Be sure to keep alk in check
Nice! Tell us which is your favorite in a couple weeks. Here's more more coral pics:
The orange blastomussa with the black center is my favorite it probably still will be unless it diesNice! Tell us which is your favorite in a couple weeks.
Sorry, late response but, yes. Red Sea failures, at least from my understanding of a conversation with one of the previous engineers there, are caused primarily from confront support. They designed the tank front to be flush with the front of the doors which offered 0 support to the front panel of glass which, when coupled with the weight of the water, allowed the glass to sag just enough to cause seam failures. Looked nice and clean until they failed though! The stand should always fit the tank regardless of rimmed or not. Peace of mind. I think that is 1 reason for the redsea failures.
Gonis either thrive or dive. If it's a freebie, SBB has some of the best in my opinion.Yeah I've got a proper alk test kit on the way right now I've got test strips and my lfs to test my water, most of these are mushrooms so alk shouldn't swing too much, but I'm debating whether I should keep the dipastrea and the freebie goniapora, because I’m not sure I'm ready for them yet lol
Just wondering if you've kept one, if so what did you feed it? I've heard amino acid supplements make them much easier.Gonis either thrive or dive. If it's a freebie, SBB has some of the best in my opinion.
I've kept several. I had lots doing really well for the first year or so and then they all gradually shrunk to nothing.Just wondering if you've kept one, if so what did you feed it? I've heard amino acid supplements make them much easier.
Heyo. I broadcast feed frozen to the whole tank and use AB+. I have several varieties of powdered foods but haven’t used them in a while. Honestly the best thing for them is decent flow and lighting that isn’t too strong.I've kept several. @steveschuerger and @Reefing_addiction have some that are doing quite well. I think Steve does AB+...
Sounds good! How long has your goni addiction lasted?Heyo. I broadcast feed frozen to the whole tank and use AB+. I have several varieties of powdered foods but haven’t used them in a while. Honestly the best thing for them is decent flow and lighting that isn’t too strong.
