Hmmm, I researched, Amakumensis is the new name of the micro Acan. Now Micromussa Amakumensis. Acan Lords or Lordhowenis is now Micromussa Lords or Lordhowenis. They should be able to be kept together. That Amakumensis can't go with Acan Lords or Micro Lords I think.
I’ve got both in fairly close proximity.Hmmm, I researched, Amakumensis is the new name of the micro Acan. Now Micromussa Amakumensis. Acan Lords or Lordhowenis is now Micromussa Lords or Lordhowenis. They should be able to be kept together.

I have alien pox cyphastrea and wwc bizarro, some of my first corals after a couple softies. They are slowly spreading. On their own rocks...Decided to get a couple more. I’m terrible with Cyphastrea historically but I’ll give these a go.
I may still snag one, or maybe another blasto, IDK... I'm probably going to have to add some more rocks though, need more real estate.I’ve got three Bowers in this picture. Two reddish orange and one more pink. Just below Stylos, between spawn and Favia, and the sprawling one on the right
Tim where do you keep yours in terms of PAR and flow?My Bowers are 2" apart maybe? Micros are about the same.
Cyphastrea I've killed several but I currently have a Meteor Shower doing well, encrusting the rock and glass, and I have a Red Brick that's fully encrusted the plug and has spread maybe 4" in three different directions since July last year.
About 75 par, medium high flow. They're on th sand bed directly under my light.Tim where do you keep yours in terms of PAR and flow?
No wonder. I’ve been cooking them even midway down.About 75 par, medium high flow. They're on th sand bed directly under my light.
I think Bowers and Micros are very flexible. From my understanding they do well in either - and the HG Micros need higher PAR if I recall. Higher being like 150-200 I think. Lower PAR can make them lose their bright colors, too high can make them vomit zoox.No wonder. I’ve been cooking them even midway down.
Yours look good in the picture, are they giving you problems? No wonder. I’ve been cooking them even midway down.
The only coral I ever had issues with needing a lower par was a sunset stylo. When I had it in med par ranges it was often partially retracted. I moved it to a shaded area and it got all fluffy.I think Bowers and Micros are very flexible. From my understanding they do well in either - and the HG Micros need higher PAR if I recall.
