Oh, dear! I am sorry for your loss.
It was a very sad day .
the old 90 gal started leaking .
I found a 230 which would have been a perfect home .
set up ,moved everything over including sand .
had a really bad algae bloom killing everything except for palys , gsp and Xenia .

This is Bruce with his best friend Jacques (skunk cleaner). He’s about 8 inches and looks like he’s going to have a streamer. He will grunt at night if you pass by the tank and to get other fish out of the way. Overall he’s a great fish. He will eat anthilia and zoas. Doesn’t bother leathers, nems, or gsp. I’ve had him about 6 months. He was a fish store trade in and I couldn’t leave him behind.

Ohhh...so glad you’ve given Bruce a good home! Looks like he has some old battle wounds, or is that the glass?
How much does he eat daily?

My emperor is about 8” and has stopped grunting all the time ..... a good thing. He’s also the favorite ‘target’ for my cleaner wrasse.

Yea that’s just the glass. They can get patchy here and there, not exactly sure what causes the color changes. My thoughts are stress or moodiness lol. They come and go but in this picture he’s fine. I feed LRS herbivore frenzy and everyone loves it. I also feed NLS pellets and he LOVES nori! He will eat just about anything from my hand! Total pig!

I have had my first Emperor since September 2020, He is becoming my favorite fish. I was thinking about calling him Maze. He is grunting already and shows he will not take any BS from other fish. I feed frozen cut up shrimp, mysis, Nori, and he loves Tropical BIONAUTIC chips, ( i soak them in tank water for 10 min or more before hand)
He has doubled in size in the past 4 pluss months growing fast. All my fish go through tank transfer before going in the display and he was my last group of fish in my 265g display.

Let’s see some more photos of Maze...and his tank mates. Never heard of Bionautic chips but sounds like something my emp would like to snack on too!
