Elegance corals ?

I have had mine over a year now and from 2-3 happy to 8in + now. I do wonder sometimes. Not about the elegance it self. But in the past couple months. I have MIA ( lawnmower , harlequin shrimp and now jus a few days ago a 2-3 in. Foxface ..... I may be tripping here but I am blaming the elegance. Cause about 6 months ago I had a snowflake eel. And another 3 months later it was lying across the elegance when I got home . Dead as a dead can be. I know these has a sting, but I am a believer that their sting is worse than a anemone.like my BTA. But my clowns will not let anything near it. Lol

This is why I am wondering now if the elegance is the culprit of my missing crew....?

I had an elegance eat a shrimp once, and I had clowns host in one...I doubt it is the elegance but it is possible. I feed my elegance small pieces of gulf shrimp when I feed my anemone.

Yeah , my clowns did the same to the elegance. But the million $$$ question is what happen to my MIA fish and shrimp. I even pulled my rock scape down, and searched for carpet surfing, the sump. Nothing, crazy me I guess! Thinking I bought the fish and all but nothing to show for except the pics of when I had them. Lol

The reason I asked about the dog/cat, if your fish go carpet surfing you may never see them. I can't imagine a harlequin shrimp jumping out though, Do you have a steady supply of starfish for the harlequin?

I did before it went missing. They were in the fuge and I'd just pic out 5 or so every couple days to put in the DT.
