Finally getting around to posting my build.
Started in June of 2021 after relocating to Florida. Previously had a biocube32 that I gave away in 2019.
Went with the RedSea Reefer XL425. My mixed reef has been up and running for almost two years now and I'm still happy with the decision.
I started with about 60lbs of dry rock and 50lbs of live sand. Took it slow cycling, used Dr Tim's Bacteria. Added a couple clowns about 5 weeks in. They are still going strong. They're a mated pair now and live in my giant Hammer. Took a solid year before the ugly stage completely finished. Thought the diatoms and hair algae would never end.
