I recently rebuild my 75 gallon and the Reef Scape Mix D would be a great basis. It look so natural. Mark

I am removing a large dying colony of Euphyllia as well as rehoming some large mont cap colonies — so thinking I might need to add some new scape to fill the space. New scape or new coral — not sure yet???

Prototype layout - going to start cycling rock in a trash can over the weekend. 48 x 24 x 20. Going for a mixed reef setup. Lots of LPS in the middle, SPS on the top, and mushrooms toward the bottom. I do plan on getting about 10 lbs of smaller live rock to put around the base of the tank...

I got a needle and inject pest zoas with kalk. sorta worked but I didn't keep up on it. Zoas are terrifying.... especially those yellow ones. Nuclear deaths might be as toxic? I'd rather fight aiptasia.

Is there a reason I should use aquascaping mortar over the far cheaper aragocrete (aragonite and portland cement)? looking at prices, cement and a bag of sand are $15 total. Where mortar is $45. It'll be used to bind rocks together, and I have time to soak away anything that may swing ph. so...
