I got a couple eBay led boxes (standard viparspectra equivalent 165w boxes with 55 diodes) that I tested par on with the Photone par meter app (android version). The led box has been slightly modified as I removed all the red and green diodes as well as replaced 4 warm whites; these were all replaced with 460nm blues.
No lenses on the diodes.
Tested in air, not underwater.
The first measurement is done at 3", which is the waterline for how my lights are mounted (obviously super close to the water since I have no lenses) and the last measurement is 22" which for my setup is my sandbed level.

Based on what I have heard these results would be 10-20% higher through the water due to the increased gain associated with reflective properties inside the tank from the glass.
Has anyone else done measurements w/o lenses?
Thoughts?
