All For Reef is very easy and inexpensive to use if you choose to mix it yourself with the powder. I've been using it for around 2 weeks now and my corals look better than ever. You also shouldn't have to dose for a while given that you just started adding corals. It took me 4 months or so to start dosing in my 20g.

Have you thought about Polyp Lab One?
My understanding is that Polyp Lab One is acetate based (unless the recipe changed).
On the other hand AFR is formate based.
Both are form of carbon dosing but the acetate will add more carbon so it can impact oxygen level (I suggest you use skimmer and dose during day) and it will impact your NO3/PO4 compared to AFR.

AFR /calcium formate seem to have gathered lot of traction so I would stick with it.

But nothing wrong with experimenting.

Good luck,
