Hello, I’ve just placed my first coral, a Duncan (Duncanopsammia axifuga). It is open in my tank and I think it looks fine. I was wandering what do you guys (all more experienced than me) think about the placement position in the tank.
Tank is 120x60x60 (cm ).
Lights are AI 32 at cca 50%.
Thanks!
I keep mine pretty much like I keep my Torches, Hammers, Frogs. Lower, bottom 1/4 of the tank. Lower moderate flow, although I think they can handle more flow than I throw at them. They are getting 200-ish par from Radions.
I also have mine with my Euphyllia on the sand bottom in medium flow. Started off with 3 heads now have about 20. Duncan's are pretty hardy and should do well with low/medium and sometimes even higher PAR.
