I recently purchased a pair of Maxspect Gyre 308s. I do love the flow of one, but foolish me expected I would be able to run one at a time. In other words have a Group Leader and a Group Member but when one is running the other is off thus providing opposite flow patterns. I realize now this is not possible. It is possible to set the two on anti-synchronized but they simply run opposite each other at the same time which is not what I want.

Question: Do any powerheads on the market have the ability to have one run and not the other and then switch?

Thanks.

I would think if you have one pump per controller you could setup times for each to run but sounds like right now you have two pumps on one controller. Can you buy just a controller for the other pump and then not associate them?

I am considering putting them on independent timers running 12 hours, but I do not think the Gyre 308 controller has the ability to go off for a specific time, but I like the way you are thinking :)
