Back when I first got into the hobby in 2008, I was 13 years old, chalice mania was in full swing, and there was no chalice more desirable than the JF My Miami. If my memory serves me well, it fetched prices upwards of $2k per eye at one point

My parents agreed to stop at WWC on the way back from South Florida sometime around 2009-2010 and I got to see their mini-colony of My Miami. I was blown away by how vivid the colors were in person. Of course as a 13 year old I had very little money so I could only dream of keeping the My Miami or any of the desirable chalices.

16 years later I’m back in the hobby, the My Miami isn’t too expensive anymore, and I finally own one! This piece would probably have fetched upwards of $10k back in 2009. The child in me is very happy.
