Ive been testing my calcium everyday for a week and found that my calcium is dropping from 420(after a water change) to 360( 7 days later)i am going to start doising 2 part calcium. My questions is should i add the 2 part calcium dirrectly in the sump or shoud i add the 2 part to my holding tank and let the ATO add it?

If i add it with the ATO should i mix the 2 part according to the size of the holding tank Or to the total water volume in my system?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Research dosing kalkwasser through your ato and you probably will not have to dose 2 part, and it will be much more beneficial for your corals.

I dose calcium twice a day using drews dosing pump, its good that you know how much yours drops in a week. Using the calculator on BRS website you can determine how much you have to dose.

ill continue the testing for another week once i add the 2 part to the holding tank and see how that measures out. Thanks again!
