I got a dog face for my 200 gallon tank about 4days ago. He isn't eating anything. He will go to food but doesn't eat it. He swims around all day and seems fine but i am getting worried about hi. I tried everything to get him to eat from live food to any frozen and even fresh stuff from the food store.

Was it a freshly imported fish or one that has been in somebody’s tank for awhile? The reason I ask is that one cause for a puffer to approach food but not eat it is overgrown teeth, but those only ate seen in long term captive fish.

I bought it from my lfs. He was only there for a few days when I got him. Is it possible he is eating stuff at night when lights go off.

It’s very unlikely that the puffer is eating at night, they aren’t nocturnal.

What foods have you tried recently?

Is it still showing interest in the food?

I've tried live, krill clams misis ,brine mussels. I tried a lot. He shows some I treat but doesn't eat it. The rest of the tank is doing great

Ugh, sorry, I don't have enough clues to go on to try to even hazard a guess. Can you post a Youtube video of the puffer?
