Baby dog puffer eye

Just bought a dog face puffer and he looked fine but over night he has a completely white eye with a weird tip on it. He is still eating but it’s only one eye. I have him in a bucket setup right now because he so small and so I can watch him.

So as long as water parameters are in check It should be back to normal does this happen often with puffers or what. Is it from the rock in there. And would you say I should leave him in the bucket so I don’t have to worry about aggression and other factors?

The eye issues, not uncommon with large puffers and tock is common object for injury as they use rock to sharpen their clamshell like teeth and at times get injured in the process
