Do I need the normal Tunze or can I use the nano?

I love Tunze and I have the nano ATO on my reef tank but I’m wondering if I can use the nano one on a 75? As it’s less expensive. Is there truly a big difference?

Yes, you can use it. It doesn't have the same sensor configuration though.

I have both and had less issues with the nano.

The optical sensor sometimes gets dirty but i run an apex so it alerts me when the return areas low. I just use a turkey baster to blast the sensor then it works again. Only had this issue twice in the last year of ownership.

The nano has more fluctuations imo

Either or. I run 2 Tunze nanos and one optical. One nano is over 7 years old so.
