The expense related to RO/DI filters comes in the filters themself and not in the device/housings.Yeah that's for whole house filtration that doesn't care about metal fittings.
It also doesn't have an RO membrane, which is the expensive part.
Look for used RO/DIs.
I already have the 2 part system, it is brass not copper, and i wantMetal, copper is fine.
It's when salt water and in tank use that metal is the problem.
Looks like that has a couple filters and the di part. You can absolutely buy a ro membrane and a housing for the membrane aftermarket. The only problem is you will have to reconfigure the setup.
Prefilters>ro membrane>di cartridge.
Edit: that's not di, sorry for the confusion, that is GAC. So you still need the di part.
Yes, it is safe to use.I already have the membrane, i have the 2 stage from
this system
but i want to
upgrade it make it a lot better, again, is it safe to use with the brass
I already have the 2 part system, it is brass not copper, and i want
to make this part the DI resins and the 3 stage the sediment and carbon with one or 2 membranes after that. So you say it s safe to use? keep in mind that it ll
be a exit from the brass part after the DI chamber . I want to
copy the BrS filters
