Show me your DIY lighting fixtures using Radions and xho actinic light bars, curious to see what people have done with this. Looking to mount my lights higher above the water to get a better spread.

I love it, looks like it took a lot of time to get everything fixed properly, however I do not have the capabilities of fabricating acrylic like you did, but, nevertheless, very envious of your lights.

Lights slide left/right and are easily adjustibe from front to back. When I do work the whole structure is on a hinge and easily lift up. Super cheap and made from home Depot parts!

Thats awesome, I like that its readily available from Home Depot. I myself want to mount two xho 24-inch reef Brites to a xr15 g4 pro and have it over my 30-gallon lagoon, any ideas?

So, I purchased the reef brite adapters for the xr15/xr30 models, what would support these hanging from the ceiling as one complete unit? I would imagine it will be quite heavy.

Not Radions but this is what I did for my reef breeders. 80/20 extruded aluminum, with standoffs to hang the lights. adjustable cable hangers on other side to hang from ceiling. Lights can slide back and forth in the aluminum frame for adjustment

https://www.pendantsystems.com/
for all the hangers and cable

80/20 you can get lots of places, got mine from airinc.net as they do black extruded aluminum

Any fasteners I couldnt find at pendant systems came from framingtech where I had my stand build.

I did attach 2x4 supports between the joists in the ceiling and the anchors are screwed into these 2x4's to hold the weight.
