What do you think the chances are of having a Swiss guard basslet and a candy basslet in a 90 gallon reef tank? I have a pair of yellow assesors with the Swiss guard without any problems. But the candy and the Swiss guard have similar shapes and colors/patterns.

Liopropomas can be fairly intolerant of each other. In a 90g they would be ok if added simultaneously. It is iffy if one is added after.

I am under this impression as well. I have a candy basslet but dont have any others with. I would think if your tank had enough real estate where they could each have their own cave/territory it might work out but to be honest with you the price tag that comes with a candy basslet and the pure beauty of one I probably wouldn't risk it. But what eatbreakfast said simultaneous addition would be your best bet if you had your heart set on keeping both.

I have 2 candy basslets and a swissguard they all get along and even hang out and sleep together. Obviously mileage may vary.

100 gallon tank. The swissguard was first and in the tank for maybe 6 months when I added one candy basslet. Then about a month after that added a second. I'm actually planning a to move all of them to a nano tank in the next few months
