Hi everyone, just wanting to confirm this looks like diatoms. Light brownish color. Blows off with a baster, not stringy. Tank has gone through the first stage of cycling, 3 weeks old. Started with live rock from TBS and carabsea arag alive special grade. Guessing silicate from the sand is causing the bloom? Would a 3 day blackout and high flow/UV help move this along or should I just let it take its course and keep rocks blown off? TIA!

Just let it take its course. Especially while cycling I've noticed it tends to pass on its own once it uses up whatever it's feeding off of.
If it keeps persisting a blackout should also help you out
