Good job keeping the look clean, keep those sump pics coming!
I like the rock you're using a lot too, did you say it was Reef Clean as in a brand? How many pounds did you end up going with total?
Pelphrey thanks! I saw the Loc line mod thread but you helped a lot by a visual video. Are you planning to hard plumb your return. I would love to see the mod to connect PVC to the Reefer plumbing.I've since removed the nozzle and redid my tape job, I used just a little to much tape when I first put this nozzle together! Thanks @Broadfield for adding to the quality of the reefer series tanks!

It's in the Show off your Red Sea Reefer thread. Post #710. I'm not sure how to link it here. It was started by Broadfield. He also has a build thread that is amazing.Where can I find the lock line mod thread? TIA
Pelphrey.. You've become "must see TV" Subscribed to your YouTube. My last tank I decided to buy and set it up in a month. Then I spent the next two years modifying and changing equipment due to poor choices. This time I'm going slow. Been planning for a month. Made a promise I wont buy anything until Jan 1st. That way I wont regret my choices.@Scarybo I got something planned! I worked on that video over the weekend, I got a handful of videos that will come out before that one though! Stay tuned!

You and Broadfield have been my go to for suggestions/ideas. Your dry rock choice is going to save me $$$. My wife says thank you.I just counted, I have 5 videos uploaded already that need to be published. The 6th video should be done rendering this afternoon. I still need to shoot the rest of the return pump plumbing and render it. Typically I only put up one video a week, but due to the fact that I have so many videos I am doing a short "How to" on Monday's and a more indepth video on Fridays!
I do still have my 20 gallon AIO tank up so I am shooting some video on it from time to time. Once the reefer is up the 20 gallon will be emptied.
Thanks for subbing!
E-marco 400 mortar rock work complete! This is 2 structures, they are pushed back pretty much as far as I can possibly get them. I originally had the larger piece on the right, but the way the back of the structures are they fit better this way.
The Reef Octopus VarioS-6 return pump outlet is 1 1/4" I reduced this down to 1" out of the pump. From there the plumbing is routed in a manner that will allow me to add gate valves later. I still haven't glued any of the fittings together, I am beside myself on the red PVC. I do have black 1" PVC in my garage from a previous project. I also have 2 unions, I may end up only using 1 I'm not sure yet.
To connect this to my return line I reduced the 1" PVC to 1/2" and will connect the soft tubing. I still need to cut the PVC to line up the barbs and I do have a plan to hide the soft tubing, stay tuned!
I have plans to hide the green tubing, I just can't decide if I like the red PVC or not. With the way it is routed I will be able to add 3 gate valves, I know I'll be running a reactor or two so not sure if a third gate valve is needed. I am attempting to build this for easy removal number one for pump removal and second to add valves!
This is my first time using the reef cleaner rocks, but so far I am impressed! I should be finished editing the final aquascape video this weekend!
