After a week or two finally places my first tank related order in a few months. Got the good juice, acro power! Also discovered the biggest trochus snail I’ve ever seen! Hard to see t in the image but this guy had some size!

Has to add some double side tape to my light stand and clean the radions. Finally testing! Alk 8.2 nitrates 8 phosphates .06 salinity 1.026

Macro algae was consuming all my kalk! Time for a harvest. With the summer months and everything else going on tank has been highly neglected.

I finally got the baseboards in, didn’t move tank for this. Will nail those when we move because that’s what’s going to happen. Do all this work, move and do it over again. Spouse always testing our skills!

It’s been a long time since I’ve added anything. I for sure would like to have MORE fish! Maybe in the winter months. I’ve either finally hit my stride or been SUPER lucky!

Been running this tank with no skimmer for 15ish months now. It’s MUCH simpler (is that really a word)?!?! Less equipment and rarely a water change. Matter of fact it’s been well over 2 months since my last water change. I’m semi consistent with my frozen food feeding. Otherwise the auto feeder does the work. I am changing out the pinky filter media once a day, been many months since I’ve ran mechanical filtration so nice to get it going again.
