Yes, I know I’m not supposed to add decor to a QT. but hear me out I’m just starting stocking a new reef build and have my QT in my home office. I also work from home and see the QT tank all day. After watching my clowns swim around PVC pipe for 6 weeks, I decided to make it a little more fun for the next group Cheap plastic Chinazon decor. If I can disinfect it between QTs, fine. If not, I’ll toss it and try something different for the next group.

I promise none of this fake plastic crap will ever be anywhere near my DT.

You've got yourself a regular freakin' Bikini Bottom there, lol.

I use plastic plants and coral...haven't gone as far as spongebob stuff, though...in my quarantine tanks. I believe it gives a more natural looking environment and reduces stress for new fish. I soak the pieces in vinegar/water mix after use and let air dry before using again. Sterile tanks and only PVC pipes have gotta be a huge stressor for fish who spend their lives looking for shelter.
