Got it, thankfully I know where I can get a Hanna for copper tomorrow and I have an aquarium emergency budget set aside. The best way to measure copper is with the Hanna Checker. The worst way is with the API kit.
I'm worried about your plan because if it IS velvet, the fish won't last 5 days.
Looking for gill flukes in dip water requires a microscope, fill flukes are tiny. They end up looking like little balls of snot, I often miss them myself.

Getting a new tank going now.
New plan,
Remove what fish are practical to catch and FW dip them on the way to the new tank.
New tank will be dossed with copper and monitored closely for cycle. Think I have enough bacteria laden things to instacycle the tank.
Dose current tank with PraziPro.
See what works and repeat it on the other tank.
Again, thanks for the help. Feedback is always welcome. I've seen @Jay Hemdal and @vetteguy53081 's posts many times and learned a lot from you guys. Thanks for doing what you guys do.
