Hello everyone

I have purchased second hand tank (Aqua evolution pro 900s) and the cabinet has water damaged in the back as shown in pics ,and the tank was running and emptied day before I bought it ,and I'm concerned about the cabinet, is there a way to reinforce the cabinet and make sure its all safe to use.

Thank you

That’s 45 gallon right?
So $500 lbs?

I’m thinking to add 3/4” plywood to the bottom of that base, then same for panels going up to the top shelf on each side at the back.

That should reinforce the stand.

Would need pictures of the stand with the doors open. This is what I did with a water damaged Oceanic Stand, all with scraps. Took the bottom off, cut one inch off all around the bottom. Cut one inch off the bottom of the doors. Made a new Stand Bottom, using the old as a template, I made it slightly larger. Cut a new top, this one was bigger all the way around, for a drip shield and for a place to set stuff down. Used Iron on Veneer Edge on the new plywood. Screwed the new top, to the old top. Inside got three coats of Rustoleum Topside White paint. Three coats Rustoleum Gloss Black on the top. Spray Painted the Exterior with Krylon Satin. Also I had some composite baseboard, I cut that for corner feet. The Aquarium was free, and most of the stuff I had lying around. So it was just my labor. At the same time I was reconditioning a 120 Gallon Stand and Aquarium.
