I find myself cleaning the inside glass of my 20 gal aio red sea tank daily because of the formation of the redish/brown algea. Tanks sits next to a south facing window with black out shade raised between 4 and 6 inches. Nitrate 10 and phosphorous .03 using Salifert test kits. What else do I need to test ? It is a fish only tanks with a large lta and one small and one large clam. 6 fish and lots of crabs and snails of all types.

wipe it off. It's tank maintenence. I don't think that, for example, the pictures of tanks here showing clear glass etc - is not everyday - it needs cleaning. Dont test anything, don't do anything - just clean your glass - its normal IMHO
