I have a large area of branching cyphastrea on my back glass, too. That's about 3 years of growth.
Cant wait to see your results.

That's cool, did you glue the plug to the back glass?

Yep. The plug was close to fully covered when I first glued it on. I'm going to find a complimentary one to add next to it

I've been wanting to try it but my coral beauty things those cyphastrea plugs are snack trays for some reason. I've got zoas growing on the back wall and a encrusting acro has plated out huge on the wall too.

i’ll probably make a build thread on this if anyone is interested in checking it out. from placing the order to almost covered. what a cool journey! :D
If you make that thread, I'll definitely follow along. You've asked the same questions I did and I have an arch I wanted to cover in cyphastrea as well.

HAVE YOU EVER KEPT A RARE/UNCOMMON FISH, CORAL, OR INVERT? SHOW IT OFF IN THE THREAD!
