Hi there!
First post, bear with me. I’m concerned about my bling bling cyphastrea. It was growing like crazy for a few weeks, then I added a 2nd CURRENT USA ORBIT IC PRO light to my setup, and I think that’s when it started turning slightly white on the edge. Here are the results from the tests I have access to:
pH: 8.2
Nitrite:0
Nitrate:10
Ammonia:0
Calcium:480 (I have calcified macro algae so I try to keep it a little under 500)
Sg: 1.026

I have also recently added a sump (was cycled with Dr Tim’s and fed + tested for 3 weeks after) that holds 29 gallons, whereas my tank is just a 40g breeder.
Anyways, just worried bout my pretty coral, any help is wonderful! I have moved it lower in the tank now, into a slightly more shaded spot, hoping it was just too much light. Pictures attached of the coral and the part that I think is dying. Thanks you guys!

Oh. Adding to this. My tank was established in 2011, so 10 years old now. Has gone through many extremely stressful moves but I still have all my OG sand, rock, CUC, shrimp, and macros Full tank picture before I moved the cyphastrea so you can see what all I’ve got going on.

I had a metero shower one that was fading for months but my Nitrates were 0. I started dosing NeoNitro and turned down the lights a bit and it seemed to recover. I had an ORBIT too over this spot on the tank and reduced the whites to around 70% vs the 100%. Hope that helps.
