I told the guy at home depot I was building it for my tank and that's what he reccommended but I'll def keep an eye on it thanks bud

I have always used the light diffusers that go in commercial fluorescent fixtures for screens We used to call them eggcrate. usually white with quarter inch holes or so. easy to snap/cut the pieces into size. comes in 4 foot sheets most of the time.
the set up looks nice. probably going to do something similar when my tank gets set up.
