Need opinions. To help with a little cost im thinking about transferring my sump/refuge and all the contents from my 29g i have now set up to the new tank. I want a shallow SB about 1" in the new tank. So i should be close if i transfer from my 29g. Yes i will rinse it out before it goes in the new tank. Or i could just wait till i get the money to buy all new equipment for the 93g.

Whats everyone thing?

Somehow I lost track of this build thread. The new tank looks great. I would use anything I could from the old build to save money as long as you are taking that tank down anyways. Just make sure you really do a good job rinsing the old sand. It will at least get you started and you can upgrade equipment as you get the money. By the way I finally got my cube wet. Waiting out the cycle and I still need to skin the stand. Looking forward to seeing yours wet too.

I hadn't done much in the last few weeks. The sand in the 29g is fine fiji pink so i may need to mix in some crushed coral to make it where the increased flow wont create bare spots.

Tomorrow im going to get the bulk heads pipe and fittings for the over flow and the lock line and tubing for the return. Still trying to deside on the sump/ refuge and return pump. I think a mag 9.5 return would work

Plumbing question... if the holes drilled are 2.5 for the over flow drain and 1.5 for tje return. That means i need 2" and 1" bulk heads right?
